Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday rolled out the red carpet for global oil NSE -5.52 % and gas giants and invited them to come and explore for oil and natural gas in India as he detailed the reforms taken by his government in the sector. In his annual interaction with CEOs and experts of global oil and gas sector, he said the aim is to make India ‘aatmanirbhar’ or self-reliant in the oil and gas sector.
