Bengaluru: Students of Government Telugu School in Tasker Town near Shivajinagar bus stand miss what was once their favourite place — the Shivajinagar playground.
BENGALURUWith the facility acquired for the construction of an underground Namma Metro station in 2018-19, the kids longingly stare out of their classroom windows, the din and dust from the work site ruining their desire to go out and play in the sun. Even during PE (physical education) period, they have to confine themselves to classrooms.
But now with BMRCL (Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited) reiterating that it will restore the playground once the work is over, the children have a reason to smile.
