In order to curb the excessive traffic at railway stations in Mumbai, Central Railways has risen the platform ticket price at certain stations ahead of the festive season.
The rate has gone up from the previous fee of Rs 10 to a price of Rs 50 at the Dadar, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus and Lokmanya Tilak Terminus in Mumbai and Thane, Kalyan, Panvel stations of the Mumbai division.
