New Delhi: Civil aviation regulator DGCA has issued notices to over 150 GoAir pilots and the airline’s Head of operations for Flight Duty Time Limits (FDTL) violations after it conduct an audit of the passenger carrier.
In aviation parlance, the FDTL mandates a maximum of eight hours of continuous duty for the air crew.
“More than 150 pilots have been issued warning for violating FDTL norms. They have been found to have been found to be on duty beyond for more consecutive nights than mandated, not availing weekly rest, base mismatch amongst others,” a source told IANS on Tuesday.
