Petrol prices inched closer to the Rs 100 mark in the national capital as well as in other parts of the country where it hasn’t already crosses the level.
With Tuesday’s fresh hike, petrol is now retailing at Rs 97.50 per litre while diesel at selling at rs 88.23 per litre.
In Mumbai, petrol now costs Rs 103.63 per litre while diesel is priced at Rs 95.72 a litre, the highest among metros.
