Petrol and diesel prices rose on Tuesday in all four metros in the country as international crude oil prices climbed to a three-year high. This was the first hike for petrol in over 2 months while diesel prices saw a rise for the fourth consecutive day today.
The last increase in petrol rate was on July 17.
According to a price statement from state-owned fuel dealers, in Delhi, petrol rates reached Rs 101.39 per litre, with a hike of Rs 0.20, while diesel saw a hike of Rs 0.25 for the second consecutive day and reached Rs 89.57 per litre.
