Deputy Chief Minister OP Soni and Industries and Commerce Minister Gurkirat Singh Kotli held a meeting with importers and exporters here on Saturday.
Kotli said Patti-Makhu railway track would commence soon and link Amritsar and Ferozepur. He said it would reduce transportation time of cargo between Mumbai and Punjab. He said the government was working to give relief to public under the institutional and professional taxes. Kotli said one-time settlement scheme would be relaunched to give benefits under the VAT.
