The district administration here today directed the road construction agencies to identify seven stretches of 5km each and develop them as ‘model roads’ which are free of accidents.
Presiding over the monthly meeting of the District Road Safety Committee, Deputy Commissioner Mukesh Kumar Ahuja said roads with maximum intersections and light points should be developed as ‘model roads’.
He directed the road construction agencies to submit a road safety audit report before the next meeting of the committee.
