Nagpur: In keeping with the trend of paying power bills online, more than 6 lakh citizens of Nagpur and Wardha paid their bills through various online services.
The number of such consumers is now increasing, said Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) in a press release. According to it, the number of online bills has gone up in Nagpur rural as well as urban circles as compared to last month. “In July, 1,15,644 consumers had paid their bills online and this figure rose to 1,23,881 in August. In Nagpur urban circle, nearly 4.3 lakh people cleared their dues online,” MSEDCL said.
