In a move to promote local art and products ‘One Station One Product Scheme’ announced in the Union Budget, the Agricultural Consultancy and Rural Development Institute launched the sale of local produce at Ranchi station under Ranchi Railway Division of South Eastern Railway (SER).
Under the scheme at Ranchi Railway Station exhibition cum sales centre opened of woven bags, bamboo products and woven artefacts. It is well known fact that Jharkhand is rich for its local made handicrafts and to promote it on better plarform, the Indian Railway started this programme so that people could get employment in these sector in large scale.This is the second temporary stall at Ranchi Railway Station under ‘One Station One Product Scheme’.
