NEW DELHI: Jet Airways and GoAir may not have revived but a regional airline that stopped flying almost four years back — Zoom — now hopes to be back in the air next month. Now called Zooom, the airline has applied for slots to fly Delhi-Ayodhya-Lucknow-Ayodhya-Delhi route from first week of January using Bombardier CRJs, say sources.
Zoom started flying using CRJs in 2017.
It did so for about 1.5 years when its fleet fell below the required 5-aircraft mark that is mandatory for a scheduled airline. Later it resumed flying in the winter of 2019 and did so till early 2020.
