NEW DELHI: Construction of the viaduct between Duhai and Meerut South stations of the Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut RAPIDX corridor has been completed.
Work on laying of the track on more than half the viaduct has also been completed for the section. However, work on the entire Delhi section is likely to be over in early 2025.
Of the 82-km Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut corridor, a 68-km stretch is in UP while the remaining 14-km stretch is in Delhi with four stations – Jangpura, Sarai Kale Khan, New Ashok Nagar and Anand Vihar. A 17-km priority section from Sahibabad to Duhai is ready and expected to be functional for the public soon.
