As the price of e-scooters moves closer to gasoline models, the SoftBank Group-backed Ola Electric is trying to attract more consumers towards its more affordable models. The company has launched the new S1 Pro 2nd Gen and three new affordable e-scooters — S1X+, S1X 3kWh and S1X 2kWh. The cheapest S1X variant is priced at about 36% lower than Ola’s most expensive e-scooter, the S1 Pro, which sells for Rs 1,40,000.
Ola has also showcased four new concept electric motorcycles – Ola Cruiser, Ola Adventure, Ola Roadster and Ola Diamondhead. The company hasn’t revealed the specs of these upcoming vehicles which are scheduled to enter production in 2024.
