Kolkata: The Okaya group will leverage its channel partner network, supply chain management and customer care experience in the energy storage solutions vertical to drive the electric two-wheelers business.
“Currently, we have 96 operational showrooms. Work is underway in 122 other showrooms. By March 31, we will have 1,001 showrooms. We have already identified 780 locations. The balance will be either multiple showrooms in these locations or smaller markets around these locations,” Okaya Power Group MD Anil Gupta said.
He says the three-and-a-half decade’s presence in the inverter business and subsequently uninterrupted power supply (UPS) has enabled the company to meet unpredictable demand within 72 hours and provide service to consumers for products that used to cost as low as Rs 3,000-5,000.
