On November 15, 2020 Oil India Ltd (OIL) announced that the blowout in Baghjan gas well in Assam has been successfully doused completely after nearly six months of struggle. “The well has been killed with brine solution and under control now. Fire has been doused completely,” OIL spokesperson said in a statement.
