On July 2, 2019, Oil India Ltd (OIL) won 12 out of 32 oil and gas exploration blocks offered in latest auction, Vedanta Ltd got 10, ONGC got 8, while Reliance Industries Ltd-BP combine and IOCL got one each. Directorate General of Hydrocarbons announced the results for Open Acreage Licensing Policy (OALP) Round II and III bids.
