On November 25, 2017, NTPC issued an RFP inviting proposals from eligible entities for offering their operational domestic coal based power assets located in India. It is a two stage bid – techno-commercial followed by price bid. The last date of submission of techno-commercial proposal is January 5, 2018. NTPC intends to shortlist the suitable assets for possible acquisition after evaluating the offered projects.
