Bengaluru: While state-owned public transport corporations in India have recently been launching electric-powered buses for intracity and intercity travel, the private sector has also kept up pace. Fresh Bus, an upcoming intercity Bengaluru-based EV bus startup on Sunday announced the launch of its first fleet of 24 e-buses on the Bengaluru-Tirupati route.
The firm aims to provide a futuristic alternative for convenient, affordable, and environment-friendly intercity bus travel.
The newly launched Fresh Bus is a 12-metre premium coach with a capacity of 45-plus seats.
