Mumbai: It usually takes two to four days to get meter connection for EV charging points in a housing society, however, MSEDCL provided connection for charging an electric vehicle for a consumer in Ulwe in Mumbai metropolitan region in just two hours, an official informed. “It is an achievement for the state power utility which has been facing delays in the past in providing new power connections. But now, we have instructions to expedite all new meter connections and try to do it within 24 hours,” the senior official said.
