NEW DELHI: In yet another instance of engine trouble on Airbus A320neo family of planes, Air India’s Delhi-Jammu flight on Thursday returned safely to the capital after one of its engines experienced stall and high vibrations. The affected engine was shut down and the flight, AI 821, landed at IGI Airport. Comments have been sought from AI and are awaited.
Last Saturday (June 10), IndiGo’s Delhi-Chennai flight had also safely retuned to IGI Airport within an hour of take off following engine failure. The aircraft, an Airbus A321neo, had taken off at 9.46 pm as 6E-2789 with over 230 people on board.
