Non-renewable energy will fuel country soon: AERB chief

Chairman of the Atomic Energy Regulatory Board Gunturu Nageswara Rao has said that a new electricity policy would be introduced in the country soon.

Mr. Rao, who inaugurated Srujanankura, a national-level tech extravaganza and Anveshan, south zone inter-university student research convention, at Vignan’s Foundation for Science, Technology and Research (VFSTR – Vignan Deemed to be University), said that power generated from non-renewable energy resources like wind, solar and water would fuel the nation soon and the country was poised to become the leader in electricity generation.
