The structure of the upcoming Noida Airport is progressing rapidly to meet the deadline of becoming operational in about a year. According to Noida International Airport (NIA) CEO Christoph Schnellmann, the final floor level of the passenger terminal has been completed and façade work has commenced, a TOI report stated. The air traffic control (ATC) tower has also reached its full height of 38 meters, and the runway is currently being paved. These two components are expected to be ready by March 2024 and will be handed over to the Airports Authority of India (AAI) for the installation of navigation, instrument landing systems, and other equipment.
