An innovative portable model of a rooftop solar system, which is promoted through Indo-German technical cooperation in Energy Partnership, is on display at GHMC headquarters.
The solar photo voltaic port-store (PV Port-Store system) power panels have been designed for easy installation, and are collapsible, facilitating easy movement or shifting. They come with a seating arrangement for terrace, with the ability to withstand up to 180 km per hour of wind speed.
Two sets of the panels each with two kilowatts capacity at the peak of production (kWp) have been dispatched to India as part of the agreement for technological cooperation between the two countries, of which one is sent to the city, Executive Engineer (Electrical), GHMC, E. Srinivasa Chary informed.
