NOIDA: The Noida Authority will write to the public works department (PWD) over the disbursal of funds for the Chilla regulator elevated road, officials said.
The cost of the Rs 605-crore project, officials said, was to be equally borne by the Authority and the state government through the UPPWD. While the Authority has commenced work on the project and constructed some pillars, officials said the state government was yet to disburse its share of funds.
The Authority is now planning to write to the state government and senior officials of UPPWD to clear the funds, amount to Rs 302.50 crore, in the upcoming cabinet meeting. The Chilla elevated road is a key infrastructure project required to ease the movement of traffic between Noida and East Delhi.
