Electricity tariffs for domestic and other consumers and transmission tariff would remain unchanged for the current financial year 2019-20, informed the Odisha Electricity Regulatory Commission (OERC) on Tuesday.
The Kutir Jyoti consumers would continue to pay Rs 80 for consumption of 30 units of power.
“The Retail Supply Tariff (STF) will remain unchanged for domestic consumers, commercial and industrial units for the year 2019-20,” a notification of the OERC said.
The commission, which could not notify electricity tariff proceedings in view of model code of conduct, finally issued its notice on Tuesday.
Like the last fiscal, the consumers have to pay tariff at Rs 2.50 per unit for the first 50 units, Rs 4.30 per unit for consumption above 50 units upto 200 units, Rs 5.30 per unit for consumption above 200 to 400 units and Rs 5.70 per unit for consumption above 400 units.
