In a relief to more than 65 power consumers in the state, the Haryana Electricity Regulatory Commission (HERC) has ruled that there will be no change in power tariff structure.
The decision announced on Tuesday came on an annual revenue receipt application by power distribution companies. On March 7, the HERC reserved the decision due to model code of conduct.
The HERC directed discoms to release power connections to power consumers, who had applied before March 31 within a month.
