The prices of petrol and diesel in the country remained unchanged for the ninth consecutive day as the Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) continued to wait and watch global oil price movement before deciding to revise prices domestically.
Petrol and diesel prices in Delhi remained unchanged at Rs 101.19 and Rs 88.62 per litre respectively. In Mumbai, petrol is selling at Rs 107.26 per litre, while the diesel rate is Rs 96.19 a litre.
OMCs review and revise fuel prices on a daily basis and the new pricing regime becomes effective from 6 a.m. every morning.
