NEW DELHI: Concerned over high number of road deaths, Union road transport minister Nitin Gadkari, Maharashtra chief minister Eknath Shinde and two deputy CMs will hold a brainstorming session in Pune on Saturday.
Sources said while the leaders will take a comprehensive review of the status, the meeting will focus on all national highways in the state and Samruddhi Mahamarg which has witnessed several fatal crashes since its opening and has claimed 88 lives, including the recent case of major bus fire in which 25 passengers were charred to death.
