The Punjab and Haryana High Court today imposed Rs 10,000 costs on the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) in a land acquisition case.
The Bench asserted the NHAI “strangely” filed an application for vacation of interim stay granted on October 16 and extended twice in its presence.
“Thus, the application is dismissed being wholly misconceived with costs of Rs 10,000,” Justice Mahabir Singh Sindhu asserted.
