HYDERABAD: In a bid to ensure smooth traffic flow, the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has enabled FASTag-based payments at forest entry points across Nagarjunasagar-Srisailam Tiger Reserve (NSTR).
Indian Highways Management Company Limited (IHMCL), a company incorporated by NHAI, will carry out electronic tolling. An MoU in this regard has been inked with NSTR which is spread across both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. FASTag technology will mainly be used to collect ecosystem management coordination fee at various entrance points of the tiger reserve.
