NEW DELHI: Passengers who have to travel abroad have started getting mails from airlines to collect the date being sought under National Customs Targeting Centre-Passenger (NCTC-P).
Since the rule is effective August 8, airlines are facing teething troubles in rolling the same out. And many travellers are confused over the same.
A family that is to fly from India to the US on a middle east carrier, for instance, later this week got a mail from the Indian carrier flying them to the Gulf hub.
“While we are flying out, we have been sent a link that is for passenger arriving into India. There is a list of options on why we are coming to India. We don’t know what to do,” said the person who did not wish to be named.
