Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Saturday inaugurated a new bridge in Aska that has been built replacing two ancient bridges of the British era.
The bridge, which will serve as a major link to various areas in Ganjam district, will lessen the distance from Aska, Bhanjanagar and Chhatrapur and other towns of the district to Bhubaneswar. This will benefit more than three lakh people. Stating that Ganjam is a developed district of the State and a business hub, Patnaik hoped that the bridge would help improve the district’s economic activities, tourism and other sectors.
Patnaik reiterated that his Government is working dedicatedly to develop infrastructures in the State. There has been visible development in construction of roads and bridges.
