NEW DELHI: The capital’s flagship elevated road is set to be extended to Delhi Cantonment, which will enable east Delhi commuters to zip to IGI Airport in just 40 minutes.
Even as work on phase III (Sarai Kale Khan to Mayur Vihar-I) of the Barapullah corridor is yet to finish, the Public Works Department (PWD) has drawn up plans for phase IV — a 7km elevated extension of the flyway to the west, from INA market to the Army Hospital in Delhi Cantonment on NH 8.
