The New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) plans to go for complete resurfacing of the road at Ranjit Singh flyover after the G20 event.
Officials said that they have already done the majority of work at the flyover as part of a rehabilitation plan such as changing the expansion joints, bearings, repairing parapet walls, pillars, view cutters and the area beneath the flyover.
“Now we are in the process of doing minor repairs of the road under the project. The resurfacing with a bitumen layer on the the flyover will be done after the G20 summit as monsoon continues till August-end,” NDMC vice-chairman Satish Upadhyay said.
