The National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) has directed the liquidator of Lanco Vidarbha Thermal Power Ltd to consider afresh Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Co’s (MSEDCL) claim of more than Rs 752 crore from the bankrupt power producer.
State-run MSEDCL had approached the Hyderabad bench of the NCLT, arguing that the liquidator had rejected its claim despite the tribunal’s earlier order to independently consider it.
