The National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) has adopted various latest security technologies on the country’s first Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS). The Priority Section of the Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut RRTS corridor was opened last week following the inauguration by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on October 20. The modern security system in the Sahibabad-Duhai Depot stretch ensures the security and safety of the passengers.
In a statement, the NCRTC said, “NCRTC endeavors to reduce the time spent at security checks as much as possible by using the latest technology and AI, just as the travel time is being reduced by the Namo Bharat trains in this Regional Rapid Transit System.”
