NAGPUR: A 62-year-old passenger onboard an IndiGo flight from Mumbai to Ranchi died after vomiting blood mid-flight. The flight made an emergency landing at Nagpur airport due to the passenger’s health condition.
The medical team of KIMS-Kingsway hospital, stationed at the Nagpur airport for emergencies, attended to him. A press release issued by the hospital said the passenger was suffering from tuberculosis and chronic kidney disease (CKD).
He vomited a large amount of blood in the aircraft and was brought dead to the hospital.
The body has been taken to Government Medical College and Hospital for further procedure.
