With the Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation Ltd (MMRCL) making steady progress on the city’s first underground metro, a total of 2,125 families have been rehabilitated so far, officials said. The families have been relocated to SRA (Slum Rehabilitation Authority) buildings under the Mumbai Urban Transport Project’s policy for rehabilitation and resettlement.
The MMRCL is the implementing authority undertaking Mumbai’s first underground metro called Line 3, which will connect Colaba to SEEPZ via the Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC).
