MUMBAI : Punjab and Maharashtra Co-operative (PMC) Bank, Sion branch, is one of the service provider of BEST undertaking and was accepting electricity bill payments from consumers.
After restrictions imposed by Reserve Bank of India (RBI) under section 35A of the Banking Regulations Act, the activity of accepting electricity bill payment has been discontinued from September 24, said deputy PRO Manoj Varade.
“All our customers are hereby requested to take note and no electricity bills should be paid in cash or cheque at Sion branch of PMC,” he added.
