Akasa Air announced on Wednesday that it will be canceling two flights between Mumbai and Bengaluru until March 30, in adherence to government directives aimed at alleviating congestion at Mumbai Airport. This decision follows the airline’s earlier announcement on Tuesday, which outlined the cancellation of four flights on the same route from February 15 to March 30.

The airline, which facilitates a total of 54 services (27 departures and arrivals each) to and from Mumbai, connecting to 12 destinations across the country, provided insights into the potential repercussions of the government’s guidelines on Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport.
