The Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSMIA) is all set to kick start its bustling summer schedule and increase its weekly flight movements by eight per cent. With this, Mumbai airport’s flight movements will reach 6,657 per week starting from March 31.
It may be noted that the summer schedule will be from March 31 to October 26, during which the airport will witness a significant surge in flight operations compared to the previous year.
This increase in flight movements comes in the wake of recent restrictions imposed by the civil aviation ministry aimed at reducing congestion at the Mumbai airport.
