MUMBAI: A threat call about a bomb being planted at the Mumbai international airport on Friday turned out to be a hoax.
Authorities checked the airport thoroughly but found nothing untoward. While Sahar police registered an FIR, the crime branch with the help of local police in Tamil Nadu have tracked the call to Pondicherry. Officials said the caller was suffering from a mental health condition.
Haryana police had received the threat call on Friday, around 3.30 pm, where the caller announced that the Delhi as well as Mumbai airports would witness explosions by night.
