Mumbai: Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals (MRPL) has reported result for the fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2015.
The company has posted a rise of 9.62% in its net profit at Rs 1169.7 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2015 as compared to Rs 1067.04 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company has decreased by 42.24% at Rs 11474.43 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 19863.99 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2014.
For the year ended March 31, 2015, the company has posted a net loss of Rs 1712.23 crore as compared to a net profit of Rs 601.18 crore for the same period in the previous year. Total income of the company has decreased by 19.22% at Rs 58267.52 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 72134.95 crore for the period ended March 31, 2014.
For the year ended March 31, 2015, on the consolidated basis, the company has posted a net loss of Rs 1852.87 crore as compared to a net profit of Rs 606.11 crore for the same period in the previous year. Total income of company has decreased by 19.42% at Rs 57916.91 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 71874.4 crore for the period ended March 31, 2014.
