In a meeting of the Advisory Committee held at Mantralaya, the Minister for New and Renewable Energy Harsh Yadav informed that not only Metro Rail of Delhi is being operated by the solar energy being produced in the State but other States are also showing keen interest in buying it. He said that Madhya Pradesh is moving ahead speedily in this field, whether it is setting up of rooftop solar plants at the Government buildings or use of wind energy.
The members of the committee MLAs OPS Bhadoriya, Virendra Raghuvanshi, Principal Secretary New and Renewable Energy Manu Shrivastava, Managing Director-MP Urja Vikas Nigam Rajeev Ranjan Meena were present at the meeting.
