Three monkeys led to a disruption in the Delhi Metro on Thursday morning, with operations on its Yellow Line being impacted for nearly four hours.
According to the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC), services between Central Secretariat and Kashmere Gate stations were regulated between 5.21 am and 8.59 am after the overhead equipment (OHE) tripped, triggered by monkeys in the underground section.
“To ensure that no harm is caused to these monkeys, which were initially spotted between Central Secretariat and Patel Chowk section in the Down direction (going towards HUDA City Centre), services were regulated.
