Mumbai International Airport Limited (MIAL), controlled by the Adani Group, has issued a notice to Air India, asking it to vacate four official quarters and some other properties.
The notice was issued on March 11, a few days after Air India was handed over to the Tata Group. According to the notice, MIAL has given 45 days to vacate. The notice also asks Air India to review its utilisation of airport land, enter into agreements on an arms’ length basis with its former ground handling and engineering arms, and surrender the balance land to MIAL. An Adani Airports spokesperson did not offer any comment. An Air India spokesperson declined to comment as the matter was sub-judice.
