MG Motor India has introduced a new base variant, called the Executive, of its first electric vehicle, the MG ZS EV. Priced at INR 18.98 lakh, it is almost INR 4 lakh cheaper than the Excite variant, which was priced at INR 22.8 lakh (ex-showroom). The company claims that the price revision is a result of various efforts made over the past two years, including material pricing, logistics, commodities, contracts, and efficiencies.
