BENGALURU: The trial runs of Namma Metro trains between KR Puram and Byappanahalli stations started on Wednesday evening.
The first train travelled out of KR Pura station at 6pm at a slow pace and returned. As per the revised deadline, the Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) is hoping to open the missing link of the extended Whitefield Metro line by August.
The distance between KR Puram to Byappanahalli is 2km. The line has a station near Benniganahalli.
