MUMBAI: The MMRDA has set the ball rolling for the construction of a nearly 10km-long Metro 10 line that will ensure direct connectivity between Metro 4 and Mira Road.
This metro will have a double decker design as it will run above an elevated road planned between Gaimukh and Fountain hotel. The 9.20km line will originate from Gaimukh, where the line 4A culminates, and end at Mira Gaon.
A senior official said, “We have already appointed consortium of Systra-DB Engineering as the consultants and the process is underway to appoint a consultant for obtaining Environmental clearance.”
