The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) has apprehended a man at the national Capital’s Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport for allegedly using a fake ticket to enter the terminal area.
According to a senior CISF official, the man identified as Vishal Singh was apprehended late on Monday night as he was found suspiciously roaming in the terminal area and attempting to leave the Terminal-3 (T3) building of the airport.
“Seeing his activities the man was stopped by CISF personnel and he was questioned as exiting the terminal area is not allowed under normal circumstances,” said the CISF official.
“He told the CISF personnel that he used a cancelled ticket to enter the terminal area to see off his family members who were travelling to Chicago,” the official said.
